Personal Care Attendant - Group Home Setting Western Mass

Join our dedicated team as a Personal Care Attendant in a supportive group home setting, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our organization is committed to creating a nurturing environment that fosters independence and community engagement for our residents. In this rewarding position, you will provide essential support that enables individuals to thrive in their daily lives, helping them build essential skills and enjoy fulfilling experiences. This role pays a range of $22/hr. to $27/hr. depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Help residents with their daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene and self-care
• Facilitate and carry out recreational, habilitative, and behavioral programs
• Provide medication and oversee health and safety issues
• Transport residents to appointments and community events using state vehicles
• Ensure client confidentiality and comply with all relevant regulations

Qualifications:

• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum of 6 months experience in direct care
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
