Legal Assistant - up to $25/hr

A mission-driven organization is seeking a Legal Assistant to support its General Counsel. This administrative role involves managing contracts, calendar scheduling, and departmental logistics. Ideal for candidates with strong proofreading and tech-comfortable backgrounds, this is an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, supportive team with exposure to legal processes.

This on-site position runs Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with compensation up to $25 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upload and organize legal contracts using DocuWare (training provided)
  • Manage calendars and meetings via Microsoft Outlook
  • Order and replenish office and kitchen supplies
  • Edit and proofread internal documents and legal correspondence
  • Use Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to prepare presentations and reports
  • Provide general administrative support to the General Counsel

Required Experience:

  • 1–2 years of administrative experience supporting legal or compliance functions in a professional setting
  • Familiarity with supporting senior leadership or executives
  • Experience handling document organization and scheduling tasks
