Corporate Controller - Up to $180,000 - Bonus 25%-40% - Hybrid

Are you a seasoned Corporate Controller with a passion for real estate and private equity accounting? Join a leading private equity firm managing over $21 billion in commercial real estate assets. This is your chance to lead finance operations, drive strategic financial decisions, and lead exciting tech initiatives like Sage ERP and expense system rollouts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare GAAP and tax financial statements; manage audits and tax filings
  • Oversee quarterly and year-end close processes including complex entries and reconciliations
  • Deliver detailed financial reporting and variance analysis to senior management
  • Manage cash, vendor payments, wire transfers, and procurement cost strategies
  • Support capital transactions, partner allocations, and loan reconciliations
  • Lead process improvements and technology implementations like Sage ERP and expense systems

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required
  • CPA with 10+ years in real estate/private equity accounting or controllership
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, partnership accounting, Sage ERP, and complex financial reporting
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with excellent communication skills
