Assurance Audit Manager – Public Accounting

An established American investment firm is seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager to join our expanding team. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong public accounting background who thrives in a collaborative, high-performing environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and firm standards
  • Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and presenting key findings to senior leadership
  • Oversee audit testing for complex areas such as revenue, inventory, debt, and equity, while reviewing team deliverables
  • Evaluate internal controls, identify business risks, and provide actionable recommendations
  • Manage engagement economics including budgeting, billing, and resource allocation
  • Mentor and train audit staff, while driving process improvements and leveraging automation tools to enhance efficiency

What You Bring:

  • CPA license (active or in progress required)
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong command of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, and risk-based auditing principles
  • Proven ability to manage teams and multiple engagements simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting firms
  • Exposure to clients in Technology, Media, Telecom (TMT), Manufacturing, or Not-for-Profit sectors
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools, audit software, and automation platforms
