Accounting Manager with Real Estate Experience


Real estate experience is required to be considered for this position.


About the opening:

  • Compensation: Up to $130k range plus 25% bonus (higher base for exceptional candidates)
  • Benefits: 100% health, dental, and vision coverage; competitive 401k; generous time off
  • Hybrid - Monday and Tuesday in office, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday remote


Responsibilities:

  • Review property level expenses and revenue monthly for accurate NOI
  • Ensure proper accounting for fixed asset additions according to GAAP
  • Present quarterly operating revenue and expense variance analysis
  • Manage monthly and quarterly filing of tax documents
  • Foster a collaborative and proactive culture within the team


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
  • Minimum seven years of accounting experience, preferably in commercial real estate
  • Experience managing team members
  • Proficiency in MS Excel required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
