Required Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5 years of experience in financial services with direct exposure to hedge fund, mutual fund, or investment company tax environments
- Investment fund tax accounting expertise (hedge funds, mutual funds, or investment vehicles)
- Strong understanding of fixed income securities and derivatives within a tax or accounting context
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for tax analysis, reconciliations, and reporting
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Experience with offshore fund structures and international tax reporting
- Exposure to ASC 740 (Uncertain Tax Positions)
- Familiarity with tax and accounting platforms such as Brightline, K1x, Alteryx, Workday, or SS&C GlobeOp
- Experience supporting accounting or tax system implementations or enhancements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills
- CPA or MST designation (completed or in progress)
