Assistant Corporate Controller opportunity with a Boston based real estate investment firm (hybrid schedule). This is a high visibility role supporting consolidations, complex entity structures, investment accounting, and audit and tax deliverables, with strong growth potential to Controller.

Key details

Boston, MA hybrid (3 days in office / 2 remote, flexibility after ramp)
$140,000 to $155,000 base plus approximately 20% bonus
Strong benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k)
Approximately $340 per month commuter support

Responsibilities

Lead quarterly consolidations and multi entity reporting, including intercompany activity
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, disclosures, and audit support
Support investment accounting and fair value considerations across a diverse portfolio
Partner with tax providers on tax packages and deliverables
Drive automation and process improvements and guide offshore resources as needed

Qualifications

Real estate accounting experience
5 to 7+ years of relevant corporate or fund accounting experience
Consolidations experience and comfort working across complex ownership structures
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Tools such as Yardi, Yardi Investment Manager, Workiva, or PayScan are a plus
CPA or public accounting background preferred
