Looking to hire an Assistant Corporate Controller for our partner, a vertically integrated real estate developer, investor, and operator with over a half century of success. This is a great opportunity for a bright and motivated Corporate Accountant with experience in the real estate industry and is looking for growth in their career and a home at a company with great benefits.

Key Details:

Located in Boston, MA with a Hybrid work arrangement
Base pay range of $140,000 $155,000
Bonus eligibility of approximately 20% based on qualifying factors

The firm operates across a wide variety of real estate investment holdings

Who the company is looking for:

Someone with experience with consolidations and fair-market value accounting
Someone comfortable with complex tax structures and packages
Someone with proficiency with Yardi Investment Manager
Someone who is willing to speak up and drive change processes, not just ok with the status quo

Required Experience needed for consideration:

5 - 7 years of relevant corporate accounting experience with some exposure to real estate accounting
Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Proven experience with consolidation accounting, equity method accounting, partnership structures, ASC 946
Strong proficiency with Yardi or Yardi IM is highly preferred

Responsibilities will include:

Leading quarterly consolidations and multientity reporting
Preparing and reviewing of consolidated financial statements, audits, and disclosures
Supporting real estate investment accounting and fair value considerations across the portfolio
Driving automation and process improvements
