Details of the job:
- Base pay range of between $80,000 and $85,000 per year
- 5%-10% annual performance bonus
- Comprehensive benefits package
- Record journal entries, oversee month-end closing activities, and compile financial statements
- Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, including reconciliations, vendor payments, and tracking tenant charges
- Contribute to budget development and monitor financial performance at the property level
- Leverage Appfolio for property management accounting and conduct data analysis using Excel
- Verify vendor compliance, maintain accurate records and support audit processes and 1099 preparation
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management
- Proficient in Appfolio, Excel, and accounting software
- Familiarity with property management accounting systems preferred
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting a plus
