Real Estate Financial Accounting Associate – Woburn, Massachusetts
Join a growing yet well-established real estate investment and management firm with over 70 million square feet of industrial and logistics properties across 16 markets as a Real Estate Financial Accounting Associate. This is a newly created role due to continued growth and internal promotions, offering strong exposure to fund accounting and investor reporting in a collaborative, close knit team.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate with 1 to 3 years of real estate accounting experience. We have worked with this partner before and have had success getting new hires in the door who have since been promoted to more senior positions.
Key Details
Location and Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days on-site/ 1 remote) in Woburn, MA
Pay: $80,000 to $90,000 plus 10% bonus target

You will own meaningful fund level accounting and reporting work with visibility into quarterly and annual investor deliverables. The team is known for being supportive, hands on, and focused on developing people as the business grows.
Responsibilities
* Maintain the general ledger for assigned funds and maintain the cash ledger for additional funds
* Prepare monthly account reconciliations and supporting workpapers
* Manage fund level cash activity including monitoring balances and preparing and reviewing wires
* Calculate and process management fees and reimbursable expenses and reconcile intercompany accounts
* Support lender reporting deliverables
* Prepare quarterly reviews and annual audited financial statements for investors across multiple funds
* Perform quarterly fair value accounting for real estate and related investments and income items
* Prepare investor capital statements and monthly or quarterly NAV statements
* Assist with annual audits and tax related requests
Credentials
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Required Qualifications
* 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, ideally property accounting or fund accounting within real estate
* Experience with Yardi or similar property management and accounting software
* Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
* Comfortable working with a collaborative team and partnering across levels
