Senior Lease Administrator
We're hiring a Senior Lease Administrator to support a high-performing Real Estate Operations team and play a key role in keeping a large commercial lease portfolio accurate, compliant, and running smoothly. This is a highly collaborative, detail-critical position partnering closely with Asset Management and cross-functional teams and a great opportunity for an experienced Lease Administrator, Lease Analyst, or a Paralegal with a commercial real estate background to join a company with a portfolio of over 200 commercial properties along the East Coast.

- Compensation: $115,000-$120,000 base + 18%-20% annual bonus

- Work Arrangement: Hybrid: In-office Mon-Wed, remote Thurs & Fri

Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze lease terms; support Asset/Regional Managers with lease-related questions and reporting
- Maintain lease data integrity across systems (e.g., lease abstracts, critical dates, square footage, assumptions, capital costs)
- Support tenant changes (name changes, subleases, assignments) in coordination with Credit/Legal; ensure updates flow correctly into lease systems
- Maintain CAM pools and recovery amounts; update monthly expense estimates and tenant recoveries
- Track Letters of Credit (LOC) details and produce reporting for Legal/Accounting review
- Coordinate tenant insurance tracking with third-party broker and risk partners; communicate changes in occupancy, dispositions, and lease activity
- Prepare, review, and distribute recurring and ad hoc leasing activity reports and summaries
- Prepare/maintain Lease Approval Summaries, lease abstracts, verification packages, and transaction announcements
- Support financial processes tied to leases (straight-line rent reporting, invoice review support, CPI rent calculations, holdover/late fee items, CAM reconciliations billing support)
- Assist with audit trail/reporting support and capital project lease responsibility reviews/amortization schedules
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial real estate experience (lease admin/lease analyst track strongly preferred)
- Experience with MRI or similar lease administration software is a plus (not required)
- Strong Excel/Word/Outlook + comfort working in document-heavy environments
- Proven experience in commercial lease administration or a paralegal background with commercial real estate experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and track record of maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Strong written/verbal communication; able to partner effectively with Asset Management, Legal, Credit, Accounting, and third parties
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple deadlines, and operate independently with minimal direction
- Bachelor's degree is required for consideration
Preferred Qualifications
- MRI experience
- Experience supporting large portfolios and working with lease abstraction / document management tools
- Background coordinating across risk/insurance stakeholders and/or supporting CAM/lease billing workflows
