A leading organization is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate MDS Registered Nurse (RN) to join their clinical team in Boston, MA. This full-time position offers an estimated pay of up to $50.00 per hour. The role involves coordinating and completing resident assessments to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, contributing to quality care planning, and supporting reimbursement processes.

Shift/Schedule

  • Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and complete resident assessments (MDS, CAA, care plans) accurately and timely.
  • Ensure adherence to CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with staff across disciplines to develop personalized care plans.
  • Monitor documentation for clinical accuracy and reimbursement support.
  • Participate in regulatory surveys and compliance activities.
  • Educate staff on documentation standards and assessment procedures.
  • Maintain current knowledge of MDS guidelines and reimbursement systems.

Credentials

  • Valid RN license in Massachusetts

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
  • Previous experience with MDS coordination.
  • Knowledge of RAI process, PDPM, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • RAC-CT certification.
  • Experience with care plan development and clinical reimbursement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
