Registered Nurse (RN) MAP Trainer
A leading organization dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Medication Administration Program (MAP) Trainer. This onsite role offers an estimated annual salary range of $75,000 to $95,000, along with a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization committed to personalized care, medication safety, and professional development, primarily working in a supportive and team-oriented environment.
Shift
- Primarily office-based with hands-on training as needed
- 40-hour workweek with occasional evenings or weekends
- Travel required to program sites

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and update MAP training curriculum aligned with regulations
- Deliver instruction through classroom, simulation, e-learning, and hands-on methods
- Conduct competency assessments, skills validations, and scenario-based evaluations
- Create and administer written and practical exams for staff
- Coach, mentor, and remediate staff requiring additional support
- Monitor certification status and maintain detailed training documentation
- Collaborate with leadership on quality audits and improvement initiatives
- Stay current with regulatory updates and medication safety protocols
- Support medication reviews and compliance tracking
- Provide on-site and remote support to program sites as needed
Credentials
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of one year of experience in a community healthcare setting
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Physical ability to perform direct service duties
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Acceptable background check (CORI and fingerprint)
