A growing residential real estate firm who is headquartered in Needham, MA is seeking a Property Accountant to join their team. - Base Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000
- Annual bonus up to 10%
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Responsibilities
- Record monthly gross potential rents, vacancy, and loss/gain to lease
- Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts such as cash, receivables, prepaids, payables, and accrued expenses
- Recalculate and adjust management fees as needed
- Ensure timely payment of mortgage and real estate taxes
- Maintain recurring payables and journal entries for each property
- Review and analyze general ledger activity; prepare and submit periodic reporting packages
- Support the external audit process and prepare workpapers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in an Accounting or related Finance concentration
- Minimum of 2 years of residential property accounting experience
- Prior experience with Yardi software
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of transactional and report generation
