The RN Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department in a leading healthcare organization known for its critical role in the Athol community. This position offers a competitive estimated pay range of $114,000-$155,000 annually, and provides an opportunity to lead a vital department that is one of the few EDs in the area. Shift

  • Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department ensuring smooth functioning 24/7
  • Lead and support nursing staff to meet care standards and organizational goals
  • Manage department resources, budgets, and staffing effectively
  • Foster ongoing education and professional growth among staff
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement policies and improve patient outcomes

Credentials

  • Valid Registered Nurse license for Massachusetts
  • AHA ACLS and PALS certifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 3 years in emergency services
  • At least 3 to 5 years of progressive clinical administrative experience
