This is a great opportunity to join a leading public health and teaching hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our medical-surgical units. - Pay rate range up to $50/hour based on shift
Responsibilities
- Provide care for adult patients in medical-surgical settings, supporting those preparing for or recovering from surgery
- Perform routine tracheotomy care and suctioning
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data to track vital signs and cardiac activity in real time
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and safety
- Follow hospital policies and standards for nursing practice
Credentials
- Active LPN license in Massachusetts
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical, tracheotomy, and telemetry nursing
- Proven ability to perform routine tracheotomy care and manage telemetry devices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting
