- Generate monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Support budget and forecast processes; perform variance analysis to optimize financial outcomes
- Complete bank reconciliations, tenant ledger reconciliations, and security deposit tracking
- Track capital projects and maintain property-level fixed asset registers
- Assist with annual audits, tax documentation, and regulatory compliance for properties
- Support month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 2-5 years of property accounting experience in a real estate environment
- Proficiency with Yardi, MRI, or similar real estate accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and real estate accounting practices including lease accounting and financial reporting
- CPA or progress towards CPA certification preferred but not required
