This opening is with a well-known private commercial real estate firm who has a long history of groundbreaking work and a wide range of expertise in Boston and in the Greater Boston area.

Key Details:

  • Compensation base pay up to $140K
  • 15% bonus
  • Hybrid set up – 3 days in-office and 2 days remote (In-office Days: Mondays and Wednesdays a must)
Functions:
  • Oversee property-level accounting, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Manage cash flow, financial reports, budgets, and reconciliations
  • Support 3rd party MRI users and manage loan compliance
  • Prepare unaudited and audited financial statements
  • Collaborate with Acquisitions and Dispositions teams on financial analysis and reporting
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business
  • 5+ years in property accounting, preferably in commercial real estate
  • Experience with Funds, Joint Ventures, GAAP, and tax accounting
  • Knowledge of tenant recoveries and waterfall calculations
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Windows programs
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience using MRI Software
