ER Staff Nurse
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated ER Staff Nurse to join the emergency department of a newly built hospital. In this role, you will play an essential part in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Details
- 12-hour shifts 3 days/week with the option to work 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
- Pay Range: $45-58/hour based on experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive emergency care to patients with urgent and critical conditions
- Monitor and assess patient vitals and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Follow policies and protocols to maintain high safety and quality standards
Credentials
- Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or obtain within 60 days of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred and must be completed within six months (if not already held)
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency department or intensive care unit
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
- Ability to obtain or maintain required certifications in a timely manner
