The RN Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department in a leading healthcare organization known for its critical role in the Athol community. This position offers a competitive estimated pay range of $114,000-$155,000 annually, and provides an opportunity to lead a vital department that is one of the few EDs in the area. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department ensuring smooth functioning 24/7
- Lead and support nursing staff to meet care standards and organizational goals
- Manage department resources, budgets, and staffing effectively
- Foster ongoing education and professional growth among staff
- Collaborate with leadership to implement policies and improve patient outcomes
Credentials
- Valid Registered Nurse license for Massachusetts
- AHA ACLS and PALS certifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 3 years in emergency services
- At least 3 to 5 years of progressive clinical administrative experience
