Property Portfolio Accountant
A prominent real estate investment firm is seeking a Property Portfolio Accountant to join their dynamic team in Boston, MA. This role offers an attractive compensation package with a base pay range of $90,000-$110,000 annually. You will have the opportunity to work within a renowned firm that manages over $30 billion in real estate assets, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and development.
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid work arrangement, with in-office work required for the first 60 days, then transitioning to a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 remote)

Responsibilities
- Review and oversee monthly financial reports from third-party property managers for assigned real estate assets
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and provide guidance on financial performance
- Conduct periodic audits including recovery income, lease administration, and property tax assessments
- Assist in quarterly and annual financial close processes and prepare relevant reports and schedules
- Collaborate with external auditors, legal teams, and third-party administrators on various deliverables
- Support various ad hoc projects such as calculating management fees and preparing investment entries
Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably with public accounting and real estate knowledge
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with Yardi is a plus
- Valid CPA or pursuing CPA preferred
